本科毕业于上海交通大学少年班,硕士毕业于北京大学,在2011年获得博士学位。2011年至2014年从事博士后研究,随后做洪堡学者以及博士后。
近10年来一直从事复杂氧化物界面的理论研究,融合了多种理论方法,包括第一性原理密度泛函理论、瓦尼尔投影、紧束缚模型、自旋轨道耦合模型、强关联模型、动态平均场理论、输运理论、以及自旋-电荷涨落理论,从多个的角度和层次发展融合计算方法。与多个国际知名的实验小组建立并且保持良好的合作,多项理论预测得到了实验的证实。在复杂氧化物界面领域,以第一作者、通讯作者或第一理论作者在物理及材料领域的主流期刊发表16篇学术论文:三篇Phys. Rev. Lett.,一篇Phys. Rev. X,一篇 Nat. Mat.,一篇Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci.,一篇Nano. Lett.,一篇 Adv. Mater. Interfaces,两篇Europhys. Lett.,六篇Phys. Rev. B。所有文章总引用为717次(Google Scholar 2017年4月数据),其中两篇PRB文章(第一兼通讯作者)的单篇引用超过百次。受邀在美国MRS (Materials Research Society) Spring Meeting 做邀请报告;两次受邀撰写专著独立章节(Springer 和 Elsevier 出版社)。
